Pastoral Support

From time to time, due to illness or bereavement it’s good to have someone to talk with.

We have a team of lay people who are available to meet with you at the Parish Centre, when open, visit you at home or call you over the telephone, to see how you are and to pray with you.

The team also make home visits taking Holy Communion for the housebound.
On the third Thursday of the month we visit Filey Fields Court (here is their Facebook page)
with a short service, followed by communion and a time of fellowship.
We hold an afternoon tea four times a year, bringing together lonely or bereaved people to meet together, at the Parish Centre, for a time of friendship and fun.

Rev. Phil Maudsley co-ordinates the Pastoral Support Team. If you would like someone to call, please do get in touch with the office (details are at the bottom of page) or contact Rev. Phil (details also at the bottom of the page)
