Leaving a Legacy
We welcome all gifts in Wills, however large or small because your gift could make a difference in our parish. Our PCC legacy policy is to use gifts to help fund significant development projects; whether buildings, equipment, mission or staff.

Since needs change over the years, we encourage you to leave a gift in your Will for the general purposes of the parish rather than for a restricted purpose. We will discuss possible uses of your gift with your executors when the time comes, bearing in mind your known areas of interest in the church (e.g. music, buildings, children and youth, overseas mission or aid) and the church’s priorities at the time. Gift Aid
If you are a tax payer your donation could be worth 25% more to us simply by filling in our Gift Aid form.

What is Gift Aid?

Gift Aid is a scheme run by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) that means charities can reclaim the tax on your donations at no extra cost to you.

This means if your donation is £100, we will actually receive £125.

Who can become a Gift Aider?

You must be a current UK taxpayer, but this is not limited to tax on earnings

You also qualify if you pay tax on a pension, savings, property sales or rental income.

You only need to have paid as much in tax as the we reclaim on your donations
