Job Vacancy in Scarborough Deanery
Filey Parish is part of Scarborough Deanery along with our local Church of England churches. There is a vacancy for a new role as Administrative Assistant.

Location: Home Working some daytime and evening meetings (Flexible)
Hours: 6 hours per week (flexible hours to be negotiated)
Salary: £12.60 per hour (Real Living Wage)
Contract: 2 years

Afternoon Tea
Filey Parish Church provides afternoon tea four times a year, for those people who would like company, at the Parish Centre behind St. John's Church.

St. Oswald's Open Church
St. Oswald's Church is now open every day - more information on the St. Oswald's page.
However, we are dependent on volunteers opening St. Oswald's, therefore, please be aware there may be days when we are unable to open.
St. Oswald's Count For Nature
On the 8th of June 2024 we joined with about 2000 other churches in carrying out a nature survey and bug hunt in St. Oswalds Church Yard. More information and the results of the survey are on the St. Oswald's page.
