Christian Aid Week

Christian Aid Week in Filey is being organised with Churches Together in Filey (CTiF). Please watch this video to find out more about the theme for Christian Aid Week 2025.

Saturday 10th May.
Street Collection in Murray Street from 10.00 to 12. 00.If you can help, please meet at St. Johns Church at 10.00. Please note that St. Johns Church will be Open that morning if you want a coffee and chat any donations to Christian Aid.

Wednesday 14th May.
"Soup and Sweet" Lunch. 12.15 to 1.15 at St. John's Church. Proceeds to Christian Aid.
Afternoon Tea
Filey Parish Church provides afternoon tea four times a year, for those people who would like company, at the Parish Centre behind St. John's Church.

St. Oswald's Open Church
St. Oswald's Church is now open every day - more information on the St. Oswald's page.
However, we are dependent on volunteers opening St. Oswald's, therefore, please be aware there may be days when we are unable to open.
St. Oswald's Count For Nature
On the 8th of June 2024 we joined with about 2000 other churches in carrying out a nature survey and bug hunt in St. Oswalds Church Yard. More information and the results of the survey are on the St. Oswald's page.
